Address:
Schwenksville, PA
Hours:
Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Current priority needs:
The Pantry is in dire need of all food items.
Please donate what you can for those less fortunate than ourselves.
Status:
We are currently serving between 150 and 175 families.
Acknowledgements:
A thank you from a young mother who within six months lost her husband to cancer, her two jobs and ultimately their house. The pantry gave her food - we could only share donated food because she was outside of our territory. The following is the note she sent us: "Dear Friends, Thank you so much for extending your love to us by giving us food. It shows me that there are still people who care about each other and not just themselves. My little girl and I are very thankful for what you have done for us. Words can't express how very thankful we are for your food. It came in the nick of time, we were down to a can of soup and rice for breakfast. It was truly an answer to prayer. You were the angel on my shoulder. I hope to be able to help you when I get back on my feet. Thank You, A food Pantry Parent.
Volunteers:
We are also always looking for volunteers. Are you willing to come and spend maybe one hour a month packing bags, loading cars or even some paperwork? If yes, please contact the church office at 610-287-7104.
