Thunder in the Valley 2005
Large Regional Food Drive that Set 2 World Records

Bechtelsville, PA

People pulled up to drop of their food donation and were so touched by the sight of hundreds of people of all walks of life working shoulder to shoulder to help make a difference. It truly showed God's love! People would just park their cars and ask how they could help! Now that is saying something.

Pictures From 2005

Companies, teams, churches, groups, boy scouts and people moved together with a simple goal... helping people with food, love and relationships that will change hundreds of thousands of peoples lives for years to come. We had car and bike clubs, military, fire and police people on hand along with food and events for everyone.

Ripley's AwardThunder in the Valley 2005 set a new benchmark of what a community can do when the focus is on a positive goal. We filled 10 tractor-trailers and raised 156,889 lbs of food in the small community of Bechtelsville, PA.

In doing this we set a new record for Ripley's Believe It or Not for "The Largest Community food drive in a 24 Hour period!" and a new record for Guinness World Records "Largest Food Drive by a non-charitable organization (24 hours)."

Thunder at the Hill
Pottstown, PA

Thunder Outreach Music Ministries teamed up with Pastor Chris Stein and dance team Neat and Company to help raise over 1000 pounds of food for the Pottstown Salvation Army, Pottstown Cluster Outreach, and the North Coventry Food Pantry.

With lights and sounds to raise the roof for God, it was such a great night at the Hill School.RTJ at Thunder at the Hill So many people were blessed and touched. Radio station 88.9 The Word FM. was on site to bring the updates to the people that were not able to be at the Hill.

Reaching out and raising food for the community is a great way to show God's mercy and Love. We believe that Jesus was given the power to heal so that he could personally touch someone and suddenly impact that persons life in a very positive way.

Anyone can talk about their god or religion. Jesus was sent to prove our father is real and so is his love, mercy, grace and power. Thunder Outreach Music Ministries also work with the basic concept that a  "person does not care what you know 'till they know how much you care!"

This is why we will keep reaching out to our communities in new ways.

20 Days of Destiny
Fund Raiser Event for Local Food Pantries

Pottstown Region
Sponsored by Thunder Outreach

Using radio, internet and news media, Thunder Outreach set out to raise money to purchase basic humanitarian needs for Pottstown families in need. A special account was set up at Harleysville National Bank that allowed every dollar that was donated to help a charity meet the needs in this community. Thunder Outreach then took members from Pottstown Salvation Army, Pottstown Cluster Outreach and Pottstown Bible Church on shopping sprees at DRS Outlet that allowed the charities to buy exactly what they needed, exactly when they needed it and in the quantities they needed it. The management of DRS Outlet even provided an additional discount which allowed all the money donated to purchase even more product. Special thanks to all who donated money for this event.

Victory Sunday
Community Outreach, Block Party and Food Drive

Located at Victory Park in Spring City – Royersford, PA

Hundreds of people positively touched, twelve churches working together, powerful praise music that uplifted God. Two worship teams sang in an open air environment that created heavenly sounds that flowed through the park and valley.

People from all over came and donated non-perishable foods for local families in need. Kids climbed the Rock Wall which was provided by our friends at Fred Beans Ford of Boyertown and Fred Beans Family of Dealerships in Limerick.

Families from many churches and the local area had time to fellowship together in a block party type atmosphere that brought victory as the Body of Christ poured love on each other.
